Banjo girl been busy!
Last month I launched my debut EP 'Lost & Found' (at least the physical version!), playing with a full band at both launch shows. Massive thanks to everyone who came out to the shows, selling out the Saturday night and almost selling out the extra Sunday show. I’m so grateful for the wonderful support I’ve received, and to the fabulous musicians who helped make the weekend so special. And thanks as ever to the fab artist and promoter Martin Bedford for all his support and to the Honey Bee Blues Club and the Dorothy Pax for hosting us. I’m working hard on getting the EP available on all the online platforms very soon, so watch this space. In the meantime, come to a gig and buy a lovely physical copy that you can actually hold in your hand! I’m old-school, sorry!
This next couple of months are also busy and exciting. I played the Running Horse in Nottingham last week which was an absolute pleasure, then later this month I’m out and about in Bradford and Doncaster. I’m also thrilled to have been selected by the Americana Music Association UK to play on the stage they curate at Red Rooster, an amazing Americana festival in Suffolk. I’ll be playing on the Friday, and my good friend and fellow singer-songwriter Ash Gray is also on the line-up. Then we’ll be hightailing it back up north on the Saturday to play the lovely 3 Valleys festival in Dronfield. Then it’s the wonderful Peace in the Park on 9th June which is always an amazing free day of music and family fun in Sheffield. Hopefully I’ll see you at one or more of these lovely events!
